Have you felt depleted or overwhelmed in the last six months?

Have you or a key team member experienced burnout or stress in the last year that has impacted their ability to do their role?

Collectively, we are living through a series of shifts with accumulating impact: grief and trauma from the COVID-19 pandemic, an overdue racial reckoning, economic changes, shifts in ways of working and worker expectations, and a polarized political and social environment.

Individually people have simultaneously experienced the highs and lows of life: births, graduations, new diagnoses, fresh love and relationships, new jobs, moves, unexpected death, and the related grief and caretaking that comes with these life events.

It’s no wonder we feel this upheaval while we continue to work for the possibility of more equitable outcomes.

The outcomes are performance-based and require a committed, focused energy on both parts.

About Shannon

Hi! I am Shannon Weber (she/her). I thrive holding space for leaders, organizations, and communities in transition to imagine equitable solutions and create impact. People appreciate my systems thinking, empathetic approach to tackling complex challenges, and ability to connect people, ideas, and efforts.

I am devoted to our connections with each other and what it takes for us to show up in the big and small ways that create meaning amidst change. I wrote Show Up Hard: A Road Map for Helpers in Crisis for open-hearted leaders thoughtfully navigating crisis and transition.

A Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University seeded my worldview, which is based on justice and explained by systems theory. Through decades leading high-impact initiatives, from community-based initiatives to health care programs to corporate social responsibility portfolios, I have honed a unique point of view—seeing what is possible amidst crisis and transformation.

With a respect for making knowledge publicly available and accessible, I have launched numerous platforms: listservs, websites, searchable databases, blogs, e-courses, newsletters, and 40+ peer-reviewed journal articles. I write a weekly newsletter on Substack: All the Care in the World.

Proofs of love are one of my love languages - find a trail of love notes wherever I go. Dancing samba and being a devoted patron of my local library bring me so much joy.

Feedback from previous workshop participants.

“The content from your session was like liquid lightning in a bottle!!! Seriously! The conversation I had following was one of the best I’ve ever had -- and your observations were a big part of it being so useful, impactful, and meaningful. Thank you Shannon so much!!!”

-Previous workshop participant

“Shannon Weber changes lives.

In a world of change and challenging workplaces, her workshops teach the “soft skills” that make great leaders truly great. I’ve personally seen the transformation of hundreds of people who have worked with Shannon and used her teachings to raise the bar in their work.

If you are looking to improve company culture, connect with employees, and truly make a difference, this is the place.”

-Fraser Larock, Business Development, Seth Godin’s altMBA

“Shannon’s training hit me like a bolt of lightning. She helped me see how creating safe spaces for others, and clear boundaries, didn’t diminish my caring or generosity. Instead, it allowed it to bloom and flourish. It was a huge revelation.”

-Mark Dyck, Chief Community Advocate, The Right Company
