Coaching
Meaningful change. Sustainable approaches.
For people doing work that matters.
Are you overwhelmed by the demands of the times and your vision for a better future?
Do you struggle to balance work priorities in the face of uncertainty and rapid change?
Many purpose-driven professionals face these challenges daily, often compounded by their drive to create meaningful change while managing diverse teams and navigating shifting organizational dynamics.
I support people with purpose to lead with empathy and avoid burnout while creating an impact.
My clients are passionate about making a difference and are committed to doing so with equity and justice as the goal.
With over eight years of experience in 1:1, group, and cohort coaching models, I have helped hundreds of leaders flourish while navigating complex challenges.
“Working with Shannon as been transformative for me across life, work, and everything in between.
She has a gift for meeting you exactly where you are and providing just the right insight to move you forward—whether it's a probing question, a powerful analogy, a new framework, or a direct observation.
With Shannon, there’s no hiding (and you might find yourself saying "I feel called out"), yet it’s done in a way that feels supportive and in your best interest.”

Lack of Clarity and Direction: With the competing demands of the times, people feel lost or uncertain about their current role or leadership approach. As the culture and external priorities have changed, perhaps your goals have changed, as well. Get guidance to develop a clear vision and actionable plan aligning with your values and purpose.
Overwhelm and Stress: The internal and external demands of leading in high-stakes environments can lead to burnout. I help people identify stressors, what is in and out of your control, and develop effective strategies for managing.
Communication Challenges: Communication is essential in times of uncertainty and crisis. For people balancing complex roles within organizations while addressing urgent needs, tailoring communication with teams, business partners, and clients is key. Learn strategic approaches to communicating consistently and clearly.
Balancing Multiple Responsibilities: Juggling roles as both leaders and team members can be daunting. The work matters to you, so you will pick up the pieces. But this is not a sustainable approach for the long haul. Develop skills to manage and balance these responsibilities effectively.
Confidence and Self-Doubt: In uncertain times, imposter syndrome and burnout can cloud our resilience. Many people doubt their abilities or struggle with self-confidence. Learn approaches to empower yourself, to trust your instincts and skills.

People who care about both the work and how they do it. Whether your approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, community-advised, or a collective impact model, you are a leader who believes (even when it is more work) that empathy is imperative and we > me.
People who understand power dynamics impact how we lead and the outcomes achieved. You are someone who engages in self-examination and understands your strengths and areas for growth. You see challenges as opportunities to create change and believe that part of changing the world means changing ourselves.
Ambitious leaders who are urgent to create change for the collective good. You have strong follow-through on tasks that further the goals of your organization or cause. You are the unusual mix of being both a visionary and an implementor. Sometimes, you struggle to juggle everything because you care so much and overcommit.

Concrete Actions
Data and theories are the foundation for understanding problems and potential solutions. Concrete approaches informed by the data are how we build the muscles to lead through real-life challenges. During coaching sessions, we will dive into the details of where you experience tensions and where there are opportunities for change. By focusing on real examples, you’ll gain clarity and develop strategies authentic to you and your organization’s context.
Building Strengths
Using a strengths-based perspective, I’ll help you build on existing capabilities. Through positive message framing and actionable frameworks, you’ll be empowered to navigate uncertainty, develop sustainable infrastructure, and enhance the well-being of your team.
Practice + Tools
Our sessions will include the opportunity to practice approaches to challenging conversations or current dynamics. I’m a fan of using frameworks and tools to map resources, develop standard operating procedures, implement strategies, and support sustainable outcomes. This practical approach ensures you’re prepared to make actionable changes and boosts your confidence and effectiveness. Many clients then use these frameworks and tools with their teams and business partners, furthering the impact of the coaching sessions.
